I have an Intersex person here in Australia interested in starting a chat group. She has joined Intersexions and is looking for others to join that as well.

I think eventualy , to get it going, some set time for intrested folk to log on , say 7pm AEST , on a set day say Wednesday. may be needed so that everyone who is intrested might participate and get to hook up.

The screening for CAH in pregnant women has lead to two completely unacceptable situations. In the USA screening has lead to the termination of pregnancies where a foetus is thought to have CAH and to the treatment of pregnant women with dexamethazone.

One of my dearest friends and a stanuch suporter of OII Australia and NZ passed away on the 27th of FEB.

CARES foundation springs to Dix Poppas defense. The Cares Foundation is one of the leading parents and doctors groups representing children with Congenital adrenal hyperplasia.
